In the winter we train indoors. Doing hard things off the bike translates to doing hard things on the bike and in life. Mental Toughness and Resilience in training assists athletes in building skills on and off the bike.
As soon as the trails are ready to ride we we are on them. We train up to 3 days/week for about 8 hours. We travel to one race or camp each month.
One practice/week works solely on skill development. Sometimes back to basics and sometimes more advanced skills. Like we say in racing sometimes you gotta “slow down to speed up.”
